DR. AMY LEWIS, DC

Dr. Amy Lewis is a sports medicine chiropractor specializing in the treatment and prevention of athletic injures, and in the application of optimizing athletic performance. Originally from Arkansas, Dr. Lewis has traveled across the globe to treat athletes of all levels.

Dr. Lewis began her athletic career at an early age, taking the title of 12-13 year old Arkansas State Golf Champion and placing fourth nationally later that year. As a high school freshman she was awarded as an All-State golfer helping her team take the title of State Champions. Later in her athletic career she was also awarded with an All-State title in basketball and was a high school letterman in golf, basketball, track and field, and soccer. After sustaining an injury her senior year she spent the majority of the year sitting out of athletics until finally seeking care from a Chiropractor. After seeking care, she said “I was immediately feeling better! It was then that I knew exactly what I wanted to do with my life.”

After attending the University of Arkansas where she worked with the chiropractic staff for the Razorbacks, Dr. Lewis attended the Parker College of Chiropractic where she earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree, as well as, a Bachelors’ in Health Science with an emphasis on Health and Wellness. Dr. Lewis is a Certified Graston Provider, Kinesio Taping® method, and most recently, Webster Technique . She is currently a member of the Texas Chiropractic Association and American Chiropractic Association.

In addition to traditional chiropractic adjusting techniques, Dr. Amy Lewis also specializes in other therapies, such as: Graston, Myofacial release, Kinesio Taping®, biomechanical analysis, nutrition and corrective exercise in order to effectively help her patients with current complaints and prevention of new injuries. She also works with pregnant women to alleviate any pre-natal issues.

Dr. Megan Foster, DC

Dr. Megan was born and raised in Garland, TX. She graduated from Texas Tech in 2017 with a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology. She attended Parker University and graduated in December 2020 as a Doctor of Chiropractic. She is also fascinated with the human mind and has earned a minor in Psychology and a Masters of Neuroscience. Dr. Megan always knew she wanted to help people in some way and what better way than through Chiropractic care. While going through school she was dedicated to her craft and was heavily involved in multiple clubs including serving as President of Rehab to Performance, a member of the Sports Performance Pod through her clinical internship, attended several seminars and a mission trip to Mexico where she provided care to hundreds of individuals. She is trained in multiple techniques including Diversified, Activator, Thompson and Webster Protocol. In addition to chiropractic, Dr Megan is a certified personal trainer through ACSM. Dr Megan worked for Legacy chiropractic after graduation, but then followed her heart to Arizona. After a great year and a half, life called her and her fiancé, Dr. Juan, back home to Texas. When she is not doing what she loves around the office you can catch her working out at the gym, exploring outdoors, playing soccer or relaxing and spending time with her family!

Dr. Juan Vidales, DC

Dr. Juan Vidales, DC was raised in Roswell, New Mexico. After graduating High School, Dr. Juan attended the University of New Mexico where he studied Exercise Science. He knew his passion was in the medical profession and to help others. His decision to become a Doctor of Chiropractic came to him when he saw how chiropractic care helped his father who had struggled with low back issues for many years. Dr. Juan attended Parker University in the fall of 2017. While learning the educational portion he was also dedicated to learning and perfecting the craft of the adjustment. He served as Vice President of the Thompson Technique Club. He graduated in December 2020 with a clinic recognition award and is skilled in various adjusting techniques including Diversified, Thompson and Activator. After serving the Phoenix, Arizona communities post graduation for two years he has returned to Texas eager to serve the DFW communities. When Dr. Juan isn’t around the office doing what he loves and is passionate about, you can catch him at the golf course, working out at the gym or just hanging out with his Fiancé Dr. Megan and their dog Bogey.

A native of the Philippines, Lisa received her B.S as a physical therapist from Cebu Doctor’s University. A member of Dr. Mixon’s staff since 2014, Lisa now dedicates herself to helping patients increase range of motion and flexibility. Each patient will enjoy one-on-one time with Lisa following their appointment with Dr. Mixon. During this time she will answer your questions while massaging away stiffness and tight muscles. For the truly motivated, she’ll prepare a series of at-home exercises!
